La Flor Dominicana was founded in 1996 in Santiago, Dominican Republic, by Litto and Ines Gomez — two people who dared to dream big. From the day they set off on their cigar-making journey in 1994, the goal was to produce their own cigars in their own factory, with total control over the quality of every product. Designed with both beauty and functionality in mind, the factory carries a unique ambiance that reflects the brand's style and imbues a sense of joy in employees and visitors alike. One gargantuan task remained to achieve full vertical integration: farming their own tobacco. Over the years, that magical plot of land in La Canela, Dominican Republic has grown alongside the company, and its soils are responsible for the rich, unique flavors that have become the signature of La Flor Dominicana. The family personally supervises every stage of production — from the tobacco growing in La Canela to the art of manufacturing in their modern factory. This vertical integration is their guarantee.
