Terre Blanche — French for "white earth" — refers to the limestone that erosion carried from the Cordillera into the Cibao Valley, where Leo Reyes succeeded in growing tobacco on the calcium-rich, lighter soil that gives it a fine, creamy, slightly sweet note. Binder and filler come from precisely this area, matured four to eight years, rolled in an elegant Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper for the brand's 20th anniversary.
