De Los Reyes Cigars
For more than 160 years the Reyes family has been in the care of tobacco in the Dominican Republic's Cibao Valley. Today the family factory stands in the Parque Zona Franca Industrial "El Limonal" in Santiago, where Nirka Reyes — the sixth generation — runs De Los Reyes Cigars alongside her father, master tobacco man Augusto Reyes, on land and knowledge passed down from forebears like Don Julio Samuel Reyes Fermín, the legendary grower of the family's third generation. From that heritage come the house brands Saga and Don Julio, made from Cuban-seed tobaccos grown on the family farms. The factory is also the trusted maker behind respected partner brands: Debonaire, the "ultra premium" house of Debonaire House, and Patoro, the Swiss luxury brand that chose the Reyes family as its Dominican production partner more than two decades ago.
