La Galera Cigars grows from a Dominican tobacco legacy centered in Tamboril and the Cibao Valley. José “Jochy” Blanco brings decades of experience as a grower, processor, manufacturer, and blender to cigars made at Tabacalera Palma. The company presents its craft as a five-generation tradition supported by four farms, two master blenders, and one factory, with close attention to tobacco selection, fermentation, aging, hand-rolling, resting, and final inspection. La Galera connects that disciplined process with the spirit of the traditional galera—the room where skilled cigar makers turn tobacco into finished cigars.
