La Aurora
La Aurora began on October 3, 1903, when 18-year-old Eduardo León Jimenes founded a small cigar factory in Don Pedro, Guazumal, in Santiago de los Caballeros. Starting with six cigar makers and a goal of building a handmade Dominican cigar brand with worldwide reach, the family developed a house that now presents itself as the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. Its identity joins multigenerational tobacco knowledge, Dominican craftsmanship, careful leaf selection, and continued experimentation across La Aurora, León Jimenes, Family Reserve, and other house collections.
